Chery Malaysia Supports Malaysian Athletes in 2024 Paris Olympics with Car Prizes for Medalists

Chery Malaysia has declared its backing for Malaysian athletes participating in the upcoming Olympic Games set to commence in Paris next month.

As Malaysian athletes from the contingent get ready to depart for France following years of intensive training and commitment, Chery is providing an extra motivation: complimentary vehicles for those who win medals.

The promise of winning a brand new Chery vehicle aims to further motivate them. Gold medalists will drive home a Tiggo 8 Pro, silver medalists will receive an Omoda E5 electric SUV, and bronze medalists will be gifted a Tiggo 7 Pro. These vehicles are the newest additions to Chery's local lineup, set to launch within days.

Leo Chen, President of Chery Auto Malaysia, expressed confidence in the athletes' dedication and training for the games. He expressed optimism that Malaysia will clinch the coveted gold medal they have been aiming for this year.

This morning, Chery Malaysia revealed its extended partnership with the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports during an event. The occasion was graced by Datuk Stuart Ramalingam, CEO of the Malaysian Football League and overseer of the ‘Road to Gold’ initiative.

Also present were Chery Automobile chairman Yin Tongyue and Chery International president Zhang Guibing, both in attendance to witness the recent inauguration of the Chery Shah Alam factory yesterday.

"We are thrilled with Chery Malaysia's promise to reward Malaysian athletes who perform well at the upcoming Olympics in Paris. We hope this encourages athletes to give their best and make our country proud," said Abdul Rashid Yaakub, Director-General of the National Sports Council.
