2024 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro previewed in Malaysia, estimated price at RM130k, open booking available now!
Chery has shown a sneak peek of its new SUV, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, in Malaysia before its official launch. It will be put together locally in Kulim Kedah and you can now place orders for it. This SUV is expected to cost less than RM130,000 and will hit the market by the end of May this year.
To sum up, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro is about 4,513 mm long, 1,862 mm wide, and 1,696 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. It also sits 175 mm above the ground.
Chery Malaysia is offering four color choices for the Tiggo 7 Pro: Carbon Black, Vanilla Blue, Bloodstone Red with a black roof, and Khaki White with a black roof. In Malaysia, the Tiggo 7 Pro will compete with SUVs like the Honda CR-V, Proton X70, and Mazda CX-5.
Under the hood, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro has a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 petrol engine, producing 197 horsepower and 290 Newton-meters of torque. It comes with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in under 8.3 seconds. Chery Malaysia claims a fuel consumption rate of 7.0 liters per 100 kilometers for its C-segment SUV.
Chery Tiggo 7 Pro comes with leatherette seats, front seats with ventilation, a dual-screen setup measuring 24.6 inches that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, and a 50W wireless charging pad with active cooling.
It also features an 8-speaker Sony audio system and ambient lighting with 64 color options. The boot has a capacity of 475 liters, which can be increased to 1,672 liters by folding down the rear seats.
Tiggo 7 Pro comes with a 540° camera system and Chery's ADAS 2.5 safety suite, which includes 16 safety features. These include warnings for front collisions, adaptive cruise control, door openings, lane departures, blind spots, and emergency braking, among others.
You can see the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro at all Chery showrooms across the country starting in April. Deliveries to customers are expected to begin by the end of May 2024.
